The one my company uses sucks too!
Winter storm watch for us on Friday. 5 to 8 inches depending on how it tracks. I'm hoping it goes north and we don't get much, I'm tired of winter. It can be spring now.

It is so sad very few people take pride in the work they do.

Punch the clock put in the time and leave call off work for any excuse .

Then complain they make no money.

    Slow and easy !

What made me mad was you bust your butt in the storm to get there and the gates are closed every one went Home. You know this had to Be Friday Noon.

Now this played out in the eighties when hand held communications were all military and Government

Well I ended my day yesterday in the heaviest part of the snow in rush hour traffic. Accidents, roads closed due to power lines being down etc. I was just happy when I was empty and parked the truck. And today it's in the mid 40s and the snow is melting and im off for 2.

I just wanted to let you know I got hit by that stomach bug where you pretty much live on the toilet.

Thank Odin it did not happen on the road it came on fast .:annoyed:

My bowels were voiding and there was nothing I could do. Never in my life did I experience anything like this.:anonymous:

Being only 20' from the bathroom.

The downside to living alone I get to clean my own mess.

Be careful out there stay safe.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I've had people ask me why some trucks don't move over when they are trying to merge. I tell them it's your job to get up to speed and find a place to merge, not their job to get out of your way. There's nothing like some asshole that won't get up to highway speed that parks next to you when you've given them room to merge. Usually happens when your exit is coming up and need to get back into that lane. I try to be courteous, but damn, some people make it hard.

Tell them to read a driving manual where you get your license. Merging means to pick your spot and go for it. Either speed up to get in or slow down and fall in behind. Duh! They teach you this in high school drivers training. And if you dont do it I'll run your dumb ass off onto the shoulder! I cant stop a 110,000 lb truck for their dumb ass even if I wanted to.

I wasn't either. But now that I am I understand how blessed I really am, even with all of its complications and aches and pains. When I wake up in the morning and something hurts I know it's going to be a good day because that means I'm still alive. Everything is going, eyesight so I wear glasses, hearing is shot so hearing aids will be coming soon. Teeth are gone so I wear dentures. Good thing about getting old today is we can get new parts, lol. All kidding aside I truly enjoy life and I'm not ready to throw in the towel, I still live life the best I can, albeit at a slower pace. Getting old isn't the end of life, we just adapt and do the best with what we have. I'm going to enjoy my new motorcycle when the weather breaks..........

Got a question for you guys, a buddy of mine is wanting out of the towing industry because of no insurance, retirement, time off, basically no benefits. And he’s wanting to go to Albertsons but they require doubles and triples endorsement which he doesn’t have… and he’s not the best at studying or test taking. I suggest he just goes to hauling dirt for one of the local large excavation companies. And get some seat time but he’s really wanting to get his doubles and triples. What’s y’all’s thoughts and advice?

Don’t you have your endorsement for the transfer?

There’s study guides online and I think you case test every other day if you fail.

I got my doubles and triples but transfer doesn’t require one here in Idaho. He’s been going through them online but he’s not great and he’s having trouble with the government terminology. You know where it’s written in the goofiest way possible.
