No, drivers are rough on delivery vehicles or most fleet vehicles for that matter, even if it's unintentional. Even the diamond plate on the floor gets worn down to a flat surface, it's only aluminum but that's just from walking on it.

So what specifically makes the EV version of a delivery van subject to far more abuse?

That's probably an excellent question for someone on the automotive side of UPS or FedEx since they haven't ordered any Rivian vans. They could probably give you a good answer. I don't believe they will have as long of a service life compared to ICE vans.

I’m not asking FedEx or UPS, I’m asking batacoma who continuously spouts bullshit to post something to back up his statements and opinions. I absolutely don’t care that what you believe is not the same as me, I actually welcome that. Disagreement and discussion makes us all better but you contribute nothing other than useless drivel and when pressed for answers respond with just more bullshit.

They could answer the question better than i can. From my previous first hand experience working in the field of logistics. Comparing that equipment to the Rivian Amazon van, I wouldn't expect to see the same longevity out of the Rivian.

If you don't like what I have to say. Shut your hole and move a long.

Why don’t you expect the same longevity?

Look at the van it's loaded with all kinds of tech that will eventually fail and need to be replaced.

I have looked at it, doesn’t seem like it’s much more complex than a Ram Promaster that Amazons been using for years. What parts do you think will fail prematurely?

I personally think a roast beef sandwich has a tougher life than a ham sandwich , but don't don't take my word for it , ask Arby's

I don't think a Ram Pro Master is as good as a step van built by one of the manufacturers that build them.

I'd rank the full size cargo vans starting with the Sprinter as the best followed by the Transit and put the Pro Master last. Obviously I'd rank the ICE version of those vehicles above the battery electriv versions.

You should have seen the chick who got her order messed up yesterday at Arby's. She made it seem like a life or death situation. I felt bad for the poor fella working behind the counter, to think he immigrated from where ever he was from, just to deal with that.

Ok. None of that answered the question at all. The Promaster is the worst delivery van in your opinion but what makes the Rivian van worse and less reliable?
