1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Never considered one. My first choice was a 3rd gen 4Runner due to it being the right size for trails around here. I settled for the LX470 because it was thousands less than a 4Runner in comparable condition in January of 2020.

They were parked at the Rowher Flats OHV gate entrance hanging out since it was closed.

@eon_blue and I were there for a bit since we were exhausting our options on where to go wheeling and camping.

A badass double cab Hilux did make an appearance but left shortly after seeing the gate closed.

Finally time to install the turbo kit, but I wanted to reseal the engine and do the drain bung without all the fighting in the engine bay. Need to paint the front frame rails and change the front diff too, so pulling it just made more sense in the moment.

 

Chocolate pie? Looks tasty. I set that engine down on a tire for the night and drove over to Texas Roadhouse cause I'm tired and I wanted a damn steak

 

We were just saying how we tend to eat better when we're out; it was some of the Chocolate Ganache Tart I made yesterday.

@eon_blue had some of my chocolate chip cookies some weeks back and he loved them so thought I'd bring something else I made.

How was the steak? Ours were freaking THICC

 

Its a good company. They do everything in house too. Their shop down here takes up like two blocks. Theu got everything

 

Steak was delicious, been a while since I had one, at least since last year.
