Predictable handling seems a stretch. At least it comes with a warranty

I’ve gone to two laundry mats and the attendant has said no can to my car cover. Debating just going in and not asking and throwing it in a big machine

Wow I'd be worried about hydrolocking my engine doing that! I do know the spot though. I wish I got out there more often but it's actually closer to LR than it is to here.

What are the common leaks with the 5VZ you'll be resealing (other than the VCGs)? I've noticed a bit of oil loss on mine, not as much as on the LC but it's there.

The snorkel was doing its job on that one. I've got diff breather extensions that run up under the hood. After I crossed, I pulled up the trail and went back to film the rest of the group. I left the engine running so it would burn off excess water. I think that helps. I've seen pictures of and stories about some people hydro locking on creeks with less water. I don't know if they hit the water too hard or they are totally unaware of their surroundings. You know our group loves to make water crossings easy and safe. We picked up a new member with a Bronco (Tundra owner from Oklahoma) when we stopped for lunch at Sand Gap.

I have a video of the rest of the group somewhere in the iCloud. I was the only snorkel in the group so we "send me first" to check out the depth.

No one ever picks up ignition issues with those deeper crossings?

Haven't seen it so far. I would be the most at risk because my starter sits in the valley. If enough water gets in the valley, it might cause a problem with the starter.

First sinus infection of the year, spring must be close.
Solid week with tinnitus so far as a bonus.
Got some drugs but staying out of the pollen today...cruising eBay for vintage electronics that make me feel old.

When I lived in FL, I was sick for the entire month of March. I think I'm allergic to fruit tree blossoms.

Yep. Well better. I'm back to my native environment. I had no allergies when I worked and lived around NYC. Concrete doesn't bloom. LOL
