Great band! Always loved it when they played Kickin' Stones.

There’s probably a reason what they call it a Devil’s punch bowl. Few years ago a guy in my neighbourhood went for a bike ride there and ‘rode off’ the cliff. He wasn’t the only one that year.

I first went there on a school trip prolly 45 yrs ago...there were literally no safeguards around the place. It just evokes a sense of foreboding, I felt it back then...it almost SEEMS like it entices one to jump.

Went last spring 2 yrs ago with the wife, she'd never been nor heard of it. I said nothing to her about any kind of "sense" of anything un-toward that I've felt there...like a experiment on my part sorta...

She immediately felt and mentioned it on walking up to it...met up with Jan there cuz we were passing through (clearly I made an impression, he was betwixt between @Sloweburn and I). That platform overlook was new to me, as was the boardwalk. Every step closer, amplification. It's wierd

Place has surely earned its name

well it was good going forward and my homemade mounts held up just fine.
scraping driveways back ward is a no go with this type of snow we had. there is no downforce except the weight of the plow and thats not enough. so going back the plow with ride up onto the snow. but for the 500 bucks i paid for it man it moved alow of wet snow last night and today. In all the excitement of I never even got a pic. Thanks for asking so if all anyone need to do is go foward and old snowbear will do...

l'appel du vide, or Call of the void in English. It's a psychological impulse, It's not just heights but anything with the same outcome as the random thought of swerving into on-coming traffic but you know you would never do that as you know you have a sound mind. i believe there had been studies towards it but nothing conclusive last i heard.

i've known about the platform up there, its been there for as long as i can remember. or at least that cross has been there for quite sometime.
i can sit at the edge of Albion falls (before it was fenced off) in the river stream in the summers. nothing. nada.
Devil's punch bowl. just stay away.

A drone definitely gives you a different perspective ,it doesn't replace the image quality of a camera .

Just say it's club fees. $10 suddenly required from all members for emergency top-up.
