Broke them in on the trail yesterday. No complaints.

Front: I'm hitting something when fully compressed, but it's not bad. Need to decide if I want to pin the location down and hammer it or just throw in a bumpstop spacer. For droop, I think I'm clear of the SPC UCA when at full lock, but I need to put it up on jacks tomorrow to check. I don't think I hit the fender flares at all.

    Rear: No issues at all.

Been a while TacomaWorld. Since this is basically the largest 35x10.50 Kenda Klever thread on the interwebs, I figured I should post info here. I did a lil research and pulled the trigger on some thick V-Bar chains from Amazon.

    Q3829
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002KQCFC8

    Ordered these tensioners as well.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DWQSLVS

Yesterday I test fit them on a basically new tire (~5k miles). Took some tweaking but it fits pretty snug with three links left over. I'm probably gonna cut off two links since it shouldn't take too much finagling. Anyway, now you have an idea of what chains can fit. BTW, these things are heavy AF.

    Three links left

    Two links plus tensioner

Awesome thanks! I’ve emailed a few companies trying to figure out what chains will fit these and had no luck.

I’m running the Klevers in the 33x10.5 size on my 5th gen runner, but since this is the most in depth forum I’ve found on the 35x10.5 size, I figured I’d ask since I’m looking to move up after a re-gear.

anyone running the 35s have experience in deep snow? How do they do, considering they’re a skinny?

My 33s have done great in milder “chew through” snow, but wheeling in Washington means encountering deep snow covered trails where floatation is key. I don’t have any experience there.

My answer isn't applicable to this forum. I have a ZR2 with a bunch of trimming done. I could run a 37x12.50 no problem. You can see how far those spikes come off the tire. If you just barely fit the tire, you will obviously have issues. I would say those specific chains would require the same amount of space as a 37x12.50.

I was very sad to read that both the skinny 33 and 35 of this brand are respectively less than 33 and 35. Not true 33/35s… :(

The skinny kendas? To be fair most tires are this way. From what I’ve seen the kendas are probably closer to their stated size compared to other tires.

That's fair. How has the ZR2 treated you, I've considered one.

Currently have been running the 37" Kenda Rts for around a year now with around 20k miles of hard abuse every weekend (have ran the 35x10.5s for 55k miles, and 33x10.5s for around 10k miles).

Figured I'd show what they have been through. Mud, sand, hood deep snow, gnarly rock trails, desert, etc. Pritchett Canyon, Coyote Canyon, full King of the Hammers pre run lap, daily driving every day, local wheeling every weekend, 1psi in the snow, tires folding over in the rocks, etc.
I use my sidewalls and wheels as traction so much, that the sidewalls are rubbing off and people might think I have 35s soon since they wont read 37s on the side anymore
Anyways, they are still fairly quiet (my whole truck is loud nowadays), still are awesome on street in the pnw rain, and so on.
I guess I could start a general Kenda Rt thread, but otherwise heres some photos. Going to maybe go with the Mts on my next set of tires since I dont commute too much besides wheeling trips, but if not it'll be the Rts again. Maybe I can convince Kenda to make them in a 38 or 39" tire

The centers are doing pretty well, i think around 15/32" which isnt bad for doing eyeball alignments.
The corners have the typical rounded off rock wear from doing burnouts on the rocks

Just to add, I finally got mine installed. They deserve the hype. Absolutely beasted their way through some deep clay rich mud in the mountains last weekend.

I can’t find an answer for this anywhere on TW and I emailed Kenda with no response…Does anyone know the weight of the 265/75/16 E rated Klever RT?

Sorry, I know this is the “skinny” thread but it also seems to be really the only mega thread for the RTs. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a link? I’ve looked but haven’t been able to find any data about weights on their site. I must be looking in the wrong place.
