Definitely solid wire and polarity is correct
Tried several pressures most people have recommended tank on full, gas to welder, set at 20

I'm not an expert here, but I'd go closer to 25.

Does it seem like it’s really underpowered? You wouldn’t happen to be running off a long extension cord or something would you?

@CVYota are you running on 110v or 220v, and how this is the material you're using?

New or used machine?? Pictures are a great help.

Just what model machine ?? Input Voltage?

120VAC using a dedicated circuit other loads on a circuit cause degraded output

Try moving the work clamp to the piece your welding! How is the table surface clean and rust free making a good work connection?

Using the correct contact tip for wire size ? Correct drive roll for wire size ? Wire brake set to tight? condition of the wire?

That's disappointing in a new Miller.

Yup same as mine, aside from the broken ring.

Id bust out the multimeter and start checking connections between the machine and the tip. If it’s not that then the internal electronics are probably bad.

I had the same problem with spattered bird shit welds. Turns out the gun connection wasn't seated all the way and the gas wasn't making it to the gun. I put some lube on the o-ring (there's a joke in there...) and it was good to go.

Yes only two pins a poor connection there would most likely cause intermittent wire speed . That is just the trigger switch

Try jumping the machine side plug with the wire removed see if you have full wire speed control.

A shame I have a few of those in my parts . They tend to break if you try to screw the plug tight when the plug is not seated correct.I had my guys break a bunch over the years.

That should fix things Good luck.

I hate those little tiny drive rolls and those little wire spools constant feed problems for some people.

    @Zebinator

Question for ya; how do I utilize a "line" as a cut?

What I mean is, I've got an item drawn up.

I've created my profile; it's exactly as it should be and just like I cut everything else.

I made a line as my "relief cut" but when I create my 2D profile and choose my model, it disappears?

    Reserected from the dead.
It gets thrown out because the line is smaller than the kerf width.

Make it a rectangle and it should keep it.

Got a call last night with some dimensions.

Cut these out and they're on the way to pick them up.

    20230307_160130.jpg

One-off crossmember mounts as the motor will sit lower than the other mounts.

Don't know why but the dross is damn near non-existent this time around on my 12 gauge, 3/16" and 1/4".
