Morning MD. I think the wind should only be in the morning. Ours settled before we left this morning.

 

As long as it’s not a hazmat product like oil or antifreeze… I put stuff like that in my trash can. Hughes Trash takes it every time. Hell, they have even taken large propane grills (no tank) for me and furniture… I believe they charged me like $10 for the grill, I just called ahead and let them know. $10 is definitely worth not having to load it into truck, get ash and grease everywhere and have to haul it to the dump myself!

 

Brought the shocks and struts to petrys...got $5 for em. Lol

Might be worth bringing any metal over to them...there were bikes, grills, and all kinds of stuff there. They happy to take it and pay ya.

 

I dumped a box full of dead struts and shocks in the metal pile at the dump yesterday.. I had no idea that Petrys would pay a few $$ for them.

 

That makes two of us...just went there on a whim cause I live so close..my next stop was landfill if they wouldn't take em...

All my metal going there from now on...

 

We also have an older gentleman that rides around in an F150 every Monday morning on trash day… if you leave anything out like metal or electronics or anything mechanical, as long as he’s able to get it in the bed of truck, he’ll take it free. Probably taking it to the same scrap yard. I don’t develop that much in scrap, so not Wally wort t using and fuel for me… but nice to know if I do at some point.

We have a scrap guy here on the mountain. He was a great asset when I dismantled 2 old singlewide trailers.

 

Morning MD. Chrome delete new bumper caps on the way. Bought them on Amazon. Hope the color match is decent for $180.

Turning last nights leftovers into this mornings breakfast!

 

My pup & I took a "off the beaten path" SxS ride up to Hancock today. Beautiful weather to be out exploring.

 

I guess that 4hr sxs ride wore her out.

 

This just happened up here on the mountain. 2 woman ran off the road and onto my buddy's property. Both sustained head injuries. Hopefully they make a full recovery.

 

Finally got around to the AC drip mod today.

 

Hey everyone I'll be starting my own shop at home in about a month. If anyone needs anything done let me know. Will be based in bluemont va.

Custom tig welding/ mig welding. Performance upgrades, engine work, maintenance/ repairs, cosmetic enhancements, minor body work (panel/ bumper replacement).

I've worked on nearly every model of vehicle, doing simple repairs to major.

Offroad vehicles are what I specialize in.
Toyota 4x4s I know like the back of my hand.

Just ask what you need done and I can mostly likely take care of it! Or can point you in the right direction!

 

That looks like an awesome way to spend a day! I'd love to do some of that type of exploring.
