IMO, I don't think so. Only if the tires were un-ballanced would it cause an issue over the long term. If you are experiencing vibrations or pulling in either direction then I would have them re-ballanced for piece of mind.

No it’s not, and the noise will change slightly over time, becoming less prominent . However, tires that were mated to the original vehicle will continue to wear in the same pattern as well as the new pattern on your truck, so the lifespan isn’t the same as if you put brand new ones your vehicle.
The variances in frame tolerances are a go-no go on the assembly line, they make final adjustments with toe, camber, and caster to meet the go no-go specification before they are shipped.
They will continue to wear in the original pattern from the vehicle they were removed from, which may be minimal, but inherent. A good example of this is a tire that is worn on the front of a new truck due to toe in or toe out. You may notice the wear, and take your truck in for an alignment and even rotate those tires to the rear during the service. However, that wear pattern is imprinted on that tire now and will continue to exhibit it throughout the balance of its life span. The only thing you are now doing is trying to minimize that wear pattern for longitivtiy of the tire.

I have not had mine tuned, because the pedal response doesn't bother me and the shifting has not pushed me over the edge just yet. When the shifting bothers me the most is when I tow our small travel trailer, but I just manually shift it and it works for me.

There are thousands of pages on this forum regarding tunes people have done, just do a search.

I love my XP 346, and did a mild exhaust port while retaining the approved spark arrestor. It was a little involved using a dremel and the final adjustment was rolling back the high RPM to reduce the possibility of over reving, opening it up increased throttle response time for limbing, but also a very noticeable mid range and top end punch on deep long cuts with full chisel chains in hardwood. The adaptive tuning didn’t curtail the top end rpm, so there was a high side adjustment that was required on the carb screw. No sluggishness, quick start and warm up, and an instant on off the bottom, the adaptive tuning meshed well with this mod. The sound is a bit louder over the stock saw.
I found the XP exhaust mod on arboristsite.com forums.. and there are other threads and YouTube vids for it..

you’re very welcome. It’ll be fine based on what you’ve mentioned.. give it some time and the road noise will quiet down some, it’s most noticeable at first..

Good stuff. It’s a must that you tune the H after porting. The rpm’s will rise and you need sufficient fuel to feed it. Don’t worry about the 346 over revving. They can take that and then some.

AS were the days! But I’m not a member anymore. But that’s where I got started too.

None to speak of, just enjoying it for the moment.
Serious piece of gear there, have gas saws as well they are definitely not being replaced by the battery type.

Luna got her first spa day!

Dawn wash (yes, just this time, to get rid of all the greasey stuff that has accumulated in 2+ weeks)
Blow dry. Didn't work all that well since her skin was pretty dry, not the slippery I prefer
    Zaino Z2 by hand
    303 on tires
    RainX all the windows/mirrors
    Wipe off Z2
roll forward, hit the tires again with 303
    Wipe RainX
Thank the wife again for getting me such a cool vehicle

For me, it depends on the trail. If it’s going to be brush(desert like conditions), then a battery powered saw is sufficient. But if the trial is anywhere near a forest, Im taking gas.

3120 Piped saws I use for competitions in Northern Cal. 136cc GAS and 119cc 10%-20% nitro.

And then the 3120 work saw, that I converted to a two piece head.
