What is it with jerks and with body lift

Discussion in 'Texas' started by gitacotrd, Mar 6, 2023.

?

Thoughts on body lift

  1. It’s directly related to gravel munchers

  2. Only for people from Texas

  3. Equals unequal manhood to ego syndrome

  4. Is easily confused with spacer lifts but ok

I guess body lifted trucks are more prone to picking up rocks in their tires? I think OP just wanted to kick and scream and be heard by somebody.

Yup that’s it for sure:brianr: it was shtuff caked under the truck causing damage (seemingly purposefully with negligence with his reaction which is why I posted) to everyone driving by. I wouldn’t bother someone for a rock coming out of their tire but when it’s coming off the truck like a bag of rocks.. don’t be a douche…

Poor guy, it'll be okay. I guess the trucks hauling brush and trees are negligent too because they don't do anything to 100% prevent bark, chips, etc. from flying off and hitting the cars behind them.

You could always go around the guy, switch lanes, or increase your following distance if it bothers you that much. It's really not that hard.

Why are you following so closely? Sounds 100% in your control to avoid this situation. Dare I call you a Karen? I dare. The big mean driver drove his mean truck meanly while I followed feet away and hurt my sensitive truck.

So lemme make sure I understand...

You were following a truck and debris was flying off his truck and hitting your car. You confronted the guy about it, yet you STILL chose to drive behind him? Hmmm, sounds like you CHOSE to do the same thing and expected different results.

Do you know the definition of insanity/stupidity?

That’s not at all what I said. A dude blew by me, chipping up the front of my car. I happened to catch up to him and let him know.. he then did it on purpose after I let him know he was doing it.
Let me make sure I understand. You have body lift?

Ahh, so yes, you chose to stay behind him. That's what I thought I read. Keep up with the traffic and you won't get passed.

I once lived off a gravel road, so I had mud tires on my daily driver and if you were too close to me in traffic, you might get a rock in your windshield.

Trucks in general and off-road tires in general are also more likely to pick up rocks from the road surface due to the tire tread design and higher suspension.
