    Hello all,
    can anyone tell me if putting 17 wheels on my 2009 T w/6 auto 4x4 will do any thing to my front end? I have the steel 16 with 245/75/R16.

    Nope. Tire size matters much more than wheel size.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    factory 17's w/ 265/65 or 265/70 will be ok. the 265/65's ar ethe stock 17 tire size

    What tires are you going to put on there? Check out the Tires & Wheels threads.

    Oh and your truck description in the box under your name...it says Prerunner, you might want to change it to 4x4 so if you ask more questions that it matters to you will get the correct answers.

    Hey by the way Im thinking of going with 17" Moto metal 957 in matte black and a 265/70/17 Bfg's on my stock 09 Double cab v6 4x4. Will I rub? Can I still keep my mud flaps? Any body got any pics with 17's on a stock truck to give me an Idea on how it will look? Thanks.

    That is the wheel I have and the tire size, but I went with Nitto Terra Grapplers. I had stock suspension without mud flaps and I have mirror rubbing on the inner edges of the front and rear parts of the fender, just a little bit on the plastic so not hard to trim and not major by any means. I have been told it is due to the wider rim 9in. I have the suspension TSB now, no pics yet, and it still rubs a little. I need to take better pics, but here you go.

    NICE! I want those rims! But I dont want to trim or take my mudflaps off. Your truck looks GREAT! I wonder if I went down a size if I could keep from trimming. Possibly a 255?

    a 255/75/17 on a 7.5 or 8" rim will let u keep the mudflaps. i had 255/75/17 on my stock suspension and no rubbing at full lock in both directions. its a 32x10x17 tire...just fyi
