YouTube is your friend here - its how I installed my suspension & brakes. Once you're done w/ the suspension install, you'll need to get an alignment.

    What’s up TW!

finally getting a lift sent to me this week. I am up from San Diego (taking care of grandma for the duration of the corona virus fiasco). I’ve checked around and prices are pretty steep for an install for 6112-5160 set up with an AAL and UCA in the PDX/GRESHAM/MADRAS/HOOD RIVER area.

    3 questions:

    1. If anyone has the space/tools/time and is willing to help me out I’m happy to bring beers/trade/beers/something to your liking for helping me learn how to install my first lift.

    2. does anyone here wanna take the trucks out while I’m in town? Once this lift is in I would love to break her at the big boy coopers in!

    3. Does it make sense to do the ECGS bushing? Seems like it adds a ton to install time.

    thanks all,

pic of some of my San Diego shenanigans as tribute!

If you’re up for it, you can save a big chunk of change by booking a day at our local DIY garage - Gearhead garage.

Book a lift, send a message out, bring pizza and beer and many will show up to help you.

    Great ideas!

Just called the shop. Should I shoot for next weekend? I called a local 4 wheel store and the quotes were damn near 1,000 for shocks, UCA, and AAL install alone. :anonymous:

mike over at gear head garage guesses it would be about a 4-6 hour job. What do you guys think?

Necroing this thread in the hopes that some of you are still paying attention and have one of the patches laying around you are willing to part with. I’m looking for more than 1 and interested in all the variations

I haven't been around in this tread for a while. Was a blast when it first started up and had some good meets. I still have the first gen patch, but it's got a home next to my switches. I am sure someone has a few patches laying around.

Welcome! Where are you located? There have been un-official meet-ups at various open house events. There was some folks who met up a few weeks ago at the Nomad Overland shop in Burien and i think some folks will be at the Mule Open House, coming up in a few weeks.

Thanks! I live in Puyallup, near Tacoma. Is there anywhere specific I should be looking for info on meetups/stuff like that?

I wish I could make it to that but I’ll be out of town for work, unfortunately.
