I am not up to speed but I was thinking of posting interesting things I built over the years.

For the most out of odds and ends and scrap.

One of two that we got today, I didn't see the other one, it went in a different truck. I think we're done for the year, time to leave the rest for seed.

The coyotes near me or what's left of them are mange infested and pretty skinny. Those could almost pass for a family pet. :notsure:

Those were on clearance here, but only like 20%, which wasn’t worth it. From what I hear, they are essentially a shotgun effect… which may require some practice and tweaking to get some useful accuracy. My info could also be horribly inaccurate, like what I heard. :notsure:

Shotgun pattern yes, but it’s also got a laser (sighted it in yesterday!). Cheapest price I’ve seen them so far in a couple of years. We’ve got these orange/red wasps that you can get somewhat close to, I’m working on making them extinct on my property.

We had a couple of years of really bad mange, every coyote we shot had it. It's run it's course now, every one this year has been great.

Here's one from a couple of years ago.

We had a brief mention a while back about the weinermobile having its catalytic converter stolen… well I saw this one locally. They assured me that this wasn’t the one. I got the picture also because of the trivia board out front.

Well fellers, here is a question for the evening:

    cartoon-illustration-of-speech-bubble-with-question-mark-free-vector.jpg

I was at my desk at the garage (working on taxes :pout:) and heard an unusual noise , the garage is made of block by the way.

I went outside and found two sections of trees, one right behind the garage, the other about 250 feet away -- packed with birds, hundreds and hundreds of birds.

A bit spooked, (queue the Alfred Hitchcock image here)

    hitchcock-and-the-birds-corbis-large.jpg

I fetched a pair of binoculars -- every one of the damn things was looking right at me .
    Holy $hit Batman!!

    211d79f083d23ec87a7fa1331a76bd2c.jpg

Seeing as I was the only thing moving anywhere nearby and a fairly large, slow target too... I got the hell back in the garage.

    istockphoto-525037826-612x612.jpg

They were fairly large, kind of bulky looking, more chunky that tall it seemed and all black/dark, I didn't see any color on any of them.

I'm no Sportsman, the only birds I can identify are Seagulls, Robins & Hummingbirds -- maybe Crows. These birds were tweeting/shrieking not the "caw, caw" noise I associate with Crows (from the movies that is) :notsure:.

No pictures as it would be a waste of time with my old phone... and I wasn't inclined to hang about outside at that particular moment either.

They disappeared later -- opinions??:confused:
