I dunno, drove home for over an hour in pretty good rain on the freeway and it hardly even cleaned the windshield lol. This mud in that particular area was super sticky thicc. Unusual for this region

No I figured as much; I don't want to run the hose out to the front

Least the accessory belt stopped squealing too; it would slightly do so when the AC would engage but stopped altogether after half an hour or so.

4Runner did the exact same thing after we ran M&M trail in Moab.

 

The 5VZ AC idler is like the Canary in the Coal mine, any action and it starts chirping, then promptly dies.

 

If I recall, we were all at the gas station getting ready to hit Fins.

Started things up and wham, squealing like a MOFO like you said.

Stopped soon after and never came back.

 

Fins was fun, I hadn't ever run any of the normal Moab touristy things. It was really sandy, but amazingly the mud terrains had better grip than the ATs despite smaller contact patches.

 

Gemini Bridges is the touristy trail we hit, but we did that last so it was a great way to end the trip

We were all there taking pics for a good while.

Forget who it was but after they saw how thin that "shelf" was, they were like "nope not standing there again"

u used to be able to drive up to it and across it til a kid rode a dirt bike off

 

I remember the memorial plaque there for that kid, sad stuff

You get used to it.

 

That was my first time on slick rock without MTs. It was way too easy to overpower them.

 

wheeling is fun but can definitely be a risk

How you liking the 4runner? You have a supercharged Taco too right? Took me a bit to get used to the power difference.

Definitely makes me a more humble driver in it knowing most everyone else on the road can out accelerate me at half throttle lol.
