Ill be honest, I picked one up a couple months ago and it was fine but in no way struck me as special.

And I love Scotch, Irish, and Japanese.

But that is me - I hope they bang for you!

 

Inspiration struck, telling me to look on Amazon (why not, everything can be had on Amazon these days), and low and behold, the fighter pilot's flask is available. My dad has been carrying his Wild Turkey around in one of these for decades.

Yup, I got one before Xmas and haven’t opened it yet. Not expecting much since it’s not my typical drinker. But the special JDs are a must purchase for me, I’ll only keep 2

It was but it wasn't even "hot" per say, it just tasted relatively bland is the best way I can describe it.

What's the deal with the keys?

 

For an anytime relaxing drink, I go with Red Stag from Jim Beam. For the special occasions, it's Bookers barrel strength bourbon. Lastly, as a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, I just picked up a bottle of Bradshaw bourbon. Haven't tried that yet though.

 

Send a photo of all five from Blade and Bow to Stitzel-Weller distillery and they will engrave/etch a glass for you, that you have to pick up at the distillery. So they get you to buy five bottles AND visit the distillery. Genius! Instead we are pooling resources and making it into a funner group thing. Glass to be etched with TW and passed around like a joint.
