Im not a fan, I didn't enjoy driving the SRT10 ram my uncle had either, sounding just terrible and handled like hot trash, and it only had 8k mi on it so nothing should have been worn out. The engine has some power but in this age, it doesn't hold up anymore.

Yeah that will be interesting. It makes sense they would feel the same for now though. When I had a shop do it, it never felt right. Fun fact, I'm pretty sure the clutch fluid is original :anonymous:

Yeah I remember driving it before you fixed it yourself and it was really bad. Actually this was the first time I drove your truck since then and it felt a lot better.

That old one was still used in the SRT10 Ram pick up; it uses a TR6060 but yeah the input is heavy AF.

Anyone ever tried tapping a barb fitting into a plastic radiator for an auxiliary return?

    Not quite

I did break a plastic barb for the degas bottle off a radiator and water welded a pipe barb on

Feels like it would be easier to have a tee on the radiator hose.

I do have one capped off from a long time ago actually, but I worry about how that disrupts flow...without seeing it it's impossible to tell. Also I actually need to run two (each turbo) so I feel like just tapping the top of the rad will be cleaner

Right now it sources and returns via the heater hoses

I suspect tapping a plastic radiator could lead to cracking. I think the plastic is usually glass reinforced though.

Surely someone else has faced this problem before?

Guys tap and add a fitting to their end tank on their radiator when the nipple for the coolant bypass breaks off - Radiator Nipple Fix Walk-Through... | IH8MUD Forum

They've posted back having been successful for many miles to come.

    I said fuck that.

    You'd think

I spent at least an hour searching for some kind of adapter that could work on the return hose or between the pressure cap

Helpful and reassuring, thanks. I'd hopefully be able to do something without jb weld but I guess if worse comes to worst...
