I'll admit, I like the hooks on the front of the new Bronco's, I think they look sharp, so I designed some up for myself. I printed a few extras as well, so I'm selling them.

The listing is on ebay at https://www.ebay.com/itm/155440531032 . If these sell I will likely make some more, and I also make the clutch accumulator delete disk, hence why ebay (taxes...sigh...). Price is $40 plus shipping (est ~$10).

These are custom designed by myself and printed on my customized 3D printer. The material is Carbon Fiber impregnated PETG. This filament has a nice matte black look with a touch of texture. Frankly, it matches the 3D printer lines well and IMO looks much nicer than most 3D printed objects. These were actually printed with thicker layers to accentuate the printer lines as opposed to trying to minimize them. *note, I added red to mine, the ones shipped will be solid black.

Hopefully it is obvious but these are NOT tie downs. They are for looks only. They are plastic and mount with 3M tape, please do not use these to hold anything down.

Let me know if you have any questions.

The black things in the pic. Copies of the bronco’s tie downs made from Carbon Fiber impregnated PETG. Looks only.

Nice work on the design. Looks good.

No worries. I see erok answered already and yes, just the black items in the pictures. These mount to your stock hood.

These are carbon fiber impregnated petg, or CF flakes in the plastic. In this case the CF provides rigidity (and looks) to the plastic. Be aware, these do not have the cross-hatch look of "carbon fiber".

Thanks @erok81, and thanks to the mods too.

I'm unsure of how I feel about this, it looks cool, but being that they're unusable, is the deal breaker for me. It's like adding a stick on hood scoop but is it possible to fabricate a usable one? That could be the real selling point and with a price increase, people would buy it.

Great work and use of the 3D printer.

From a function standpoint I wouldn't trust anything that wasn't bolted or welded on. There are bolt on brackets for the tacoma, they are sheet metal and slide between the hood and fender, sticking up to allow it to be used as a tie down.

Unfortunately, aside from CNC machined aluminum bolted through the hood, I don't see another way to do this that I would consider functional. Even at that, I probably wouldn't trust anything tied to the hood itself, leaving just the fender and the sheet metal versions I mentioned previously.

    Edit: Found them. Limb risers

^ Thanks, but from an aesthetic point of view, yours look much better. If I could only have the two fornicate and produce the best of both words, that would be ideal.
