Saw this today but sorry can't do pics I am too old. I think it looks good, only a ft. shorter than the Tundra. The V6 is gone and 2 turbo 4's are offered. 260 hp is std. and an ev plus turbo is optional at 340 hp. I saw this today on MSN.

We can only hope that the radio volume/station selector buttons are rotatable.

I'm glad I bought my 23 when I did, it may be considered a dinosaur, but I love it.

What’s the range on the EV or was it a hybrid? If it’s over 300 miles, I’d seriously consider it.

Speaking of dumb “innovations” the mule Colorado and Canyons didn’t have headlight switches/dials. The headlights are buried in a screen. Dumbest thing ever, I hope that didn’t make it to the production vehicle.

although in GM’s defense I have auto lights on my Tacoma and I don’t believe I’ve touched the switch once in 5,000 miles.

Was going to say same, Not bad as it initially seems as I don’t ever touch switch, except when 3 year old is playing around with it without my knowledge, and I don’t realize it until dark. May actually be a good thing with auto on headlights.

Same was said regarding 2nd gens and 3rd gens. Both generations proved to be pretty reliable.

I think 4th gen will be just fine, typical Toyota.

    Nope. Still terrible.

I rarely touch the auto lights either but when driving in snowy/blizzard conditions or rain/fog when it's not dark enough to turn on the auto lights I don't want to be faffing with the screen to turn my lights on.

Assuming there is no ban-hammer on rumor mongering ... what about Tacoma losing the war-beast-V6 and only offering turbo-4?

I hate to say this time is different but this time it is different haha. I did hear they are going to use 4bangers with turbos that have already been proven by toyota which is really nice but i feel like theres a large portion of people that buy this truck for its simplicity. Adding more electronics and turbos is more crap to break, not that its going to matter because consumers eat it up anyway. It would be amazing if theres a tiny chance the new turbos can be bolted on existing 2tr-fe engines. Us 2.7 guys are desperate for a nice turbo kit. only time will tell...

Toyota has been building 4cyl turbo diesels for many decades. I only hear good things about them.

In any case, IMO Toyota will still be more reliable than any other marque.
