No cmc? How about when fully stuffed? Seems like the back of the front wheel is awfully close to the body/frame. Looks good though.

From what I have been reading the general consensus is -
Single aal is better at carrying constant load but has a rough ride with no load, 1 heavy spring that is always active
3 aal is smooth with no load but sags under heavy loads, 3 light springs that progressively engage

thank you. That makes sense. I’ll rarely have a heavy load in my truck so I might go with the 3 leaf aal

    Great explanation. I agree.

    Keith explained it well above.

No alignment just yet, need to get it scheduled. I had pulled the caster/camber angles before I started the lift install, so returned those back when I was pulling the LCA's forward and adjusting the SPC UCA's. Then did by best to set the toe. It drives fine down the road but my wheel is just slightly crooked. Trying to get an appointment set up with AZTOYPROS for the final alignment.

I will say - with this lift/tire combo and the adjustability of the SPC's I do not plan to do the CMC. Have good clearance to the back of the liner.

Shocks and struts from the factory lift, then the Headstrong 3LAAL with their optional .5" block.

I pick up my MGM Trail Edition on Thursday. Excited and nervous at same time. First time I have ever purchased a vehicle without seeing one of similar specifications in person.

Nate, that looks fantastic. So just to be clear, what tires are on in those photos? Wheels are 17 x 8 or 8.5" aftermarket, right?

I'm super excited for both of you guys. Congrats.

Thanks, Ryan! That’s my current setup, which is: 285/70r17 Maxxis Razr ATs (p-rated and measure 32.6” according to the spec sheet) on AGP Pro wheels that are 17x8 et+5 and then the factory lift shocks and struts with Headstrong 3-leaf AALs in the back and their optional .5” spacers. I had 275s previously and they just looked a little small!

That is one fine looking truck. I may have to look into raising mine after seeing yours.

Thank you, sir! With the factory lift shocks and Headstrong AAL, I'm all in for right around $650 (minus wheels, tires, mount/balance/alignment) since I installed it myself. Just took an afternoon and a case of beer! Let me know if you have any questions about parts or the process.
