Ignore batacoma . He told me he purposely makes things up just to troll all the EV threads. Very weird.

They'll be utilizing the Kentucky plant. Maybe make batteries in another plant.

The technology of the Cybertruck is kinda cool, but I just cant get on board with the look. What's up with the huge waste of space on the dash, im imagining trying to wipe the dust away that always accumulates on the dash. That sloped roof is gonna dump snow and ice into the bed. idk

Yeh i never been a fan of the design. Just seems too radical at the moment. Maybe in the year 2040 it would be more contemporary.

Regarding the crash into the fire truck, all I have to say is that that stretch of highway is only five minutes from me, and our Model 3's self-driving takes that curve (between the Olympic exit and the Trinity Ave bridge) extremely poorly, to the point that I have been turning it off for months to drive it by hand. Take that information however you want.

Who would drive something that looks like this? John Mcclane? Nicki Minaj, in a Hip Hop video? Kanye West probably objects to the styling.

That ridiculous wiper, the single blade replacement probably cost $300.00, and it probably takes 6 months to get a replacement. I thought there was some regulation that vehicles had to have at least two wiper arms. I think some McLaren's have a single wiper, so maybe not.

The single wiper blade is the ONLY thing I like.

I am not even sure where/what are the headlights

I test drove a 2021 Tesla Model Y yesterday. It was great and id love to own it but the dealer is asking the same price a new one would cost after you factor in the federal rebate. So I will wait. No telling where used/new prices will go this year, but if i wait until next year the federal rebate becomes a point of sale rebate. This dealer has several used Tesla's that they bought before Tesla slashed prices. They are gonna lose money, its just a matter of how much.26D0E6CA-731D-4A6B-9E61-A3E0C91AE5CD.jpg

    https://qz.com/electric-vehicles-cleaner-battery-mining-1850129845

EVs are far cleaner than gas-powered cars — even if batteries require more mining

Fossil fuel cars emit 12 times more carbon dioxide per mile than electric ones

The global transition to renewable energy will require vast amounts of minerals. Those minerals will need to be extracted from the ground, processed into purer forms, and turned into batteries and magnets to power things like electric vehicles.

So if the battery in an electric vehicle, or EV, demands so much mining andmanufacturing, are they really so much cleaner than gas-fueled internal combustion engines?
