May I ask what dealer you purchased it from and if you know if they can have it shipped to me. The lowest I’m finding online is $400 for an OEM one.

I forget were I ordered from but I ordered the imitation grille. The first one arrived broken and got a refund but was told to keep the grille. I ordered another grille from another company. It arrived and was missing the center letter section. Again, I was given a refund and told to keep the grille. So I was able to move the Center letter section from the broken grille over to the one that was missing it. So I got a perfect looking grille for free. It still looks good after about 5 years now.

Has anyone used ironX or another equivalent iron remover and did it mess up the finish on the pro grill?

Exactly why I am sticking with my plain-jane grille. My stock grille seems to function perfectly! Weird!

I lost count: Is this the 10,003rd post on this subject or 10,004?

The TRD Grille is fine, but I personally like the X-Trek a little better. Just in case y'all are wanting something different. :cookiemonster:

i wonder if anyone has bought or know how to get a oem trd pro grill with provisions for front camera instead of having to cut and modify the grill to make it fit

Got mine from Taco Vinyl including the garnish (which was shipped installed on the grille) and their front camera mount. I went with them because I liked their front camera mount system better than what you have to do with the OEM grille. Quality was very good, install went just as advertised, no error codes, and all the TSS stuff and adaptive cruise worked fine.

I bought the TacoVinyl grille w/ garnish and camera mount, installed it, then realized the garnish is just way too shiny for my taste. The TSS works flawlessly with no errors at all, but the garnish has way too much silver on it. I don't know why the after market garnishes can't be as subdued as the OEM garnish.

So I also bought an OEM grille with the camera hole and a camera bracket from a dealer online...now I just need to decide on a not-so-shiny after marker garnish, or find a good, used OEM garnish..

    OEM part numbers:

    Grille: PT22835200AA
    Bracket: PT59535210

You will, unfortunately, likely have to provide a TRD Pro VIN for purchase approval.

Also, I don't know why people pay $20 for the Westcott bracket, when the OEM bracket is like $3?! Can someone please explain that to me?

    Work in progress...
I went with one of the leas expensive aftermarket grilles since I was modifying it to fit my anytime camera.

I believe I saw someone use a small piece of window tint cut to fit on the garnish to subdue it. I would try that first before I spent more money on another garnish.

I'm in the X-trek fan club as well - I agree the TRD PRO grill is fine it's just that everybody and their brother has one
The X-trek lets you put whatever logo you like - I stayed a bit from the TOYOTA camp and went with the Tacoma theme - actually it's a red Tacoma badge for the side.

Don’t laugh, but I went through Sevag Merdinian on Facebook. He posts on the Tacoma groups there. Just order from cartrimhome.com and use “kingsev7” at checkout to get the grill & garnish for $110. I was super skeptical, but it came in just a few days and looks great. No issues at all. Figured for that cheap if it ended up being crap I wouldn’t be out too much and if I lose a letter I can order a replacement set separately for $10 from the same site.

I used Xpel Stealth PPF on the garnish. Eliminated all the glare and was easy to apply. It cost about $12 for the Xpel, much cheaper than an OEM garnish.
