Yeah, it was pretty much every trick I had tried previously, but “centering” the clip with grease and the slide pull action were probably the key.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I have a question.
I recently purchased a pair of these CV axles. The nut on these CV axles uses a 41mm socket. Does that sound correct?

    thanks

IIRC, the threads were the same, but the bolt size was different. I just reused my original nut. I just bought one for the other side as well.

    Trakmotive vs Importdirect

I bet they come from the same manufacturer just with a different "brand" slapped on it like coils on Kings, Eibach, and more. Many people don't realize they're the same brand.

That's what I'm assuming, just skeptic on the price difference. So I'll order the cheaper ones and see then heh

Found the -ET under ImportDirect & FVP
Found the -XXT under SurTrack, TrakMotive, & FVP

With knowledge that many times one item is sold to multiple brands, I figured that was the case here. That and the fact that the pictures used are the same for both products, not to mention the design (shown in the diagram on their site).

Exactly. I just got em for backups if something happens. Plus at the time I was about to put on 33s but haven't.

Bringing back an old tread !
So my shafts are rubbing the coilover cups. I remember reading about a t4r who was having an
similar issues and I was wondering what their fix was. I'm going to have my aliment guy pull a little bit of caster out and see if that helps. Anyone else running into this issue?

    I owned that T4R.

No fix, I just sent it as is.

They have a lifetime warranty so ideally you should just replace it under warranty; doesn't take long to replace a CV axle at all.
