In Forest lakes where he was its 5 feet on the sides of the roads from the plows and probably 2 ish feet deep on all the back roads depending on tree coverage. Show low its pretty much all melted except for the piles we been shoveling and stacking. Getting warmer so should all be gone in a few days.

Edit: Dig the new screen name hahaha Much more original!

This is what I was stuck in, after I dug the truck out. It was buried up to the frame underneath.

Also, for the record we went out well before sunset, we were stuck for a long while before I hopped on tacomaworld.

My rule of thumb is never air up. Just always run 15-17psi

Is that Plan B bar in Baja, just north of Rosarito? We stay in a condo a couple of times a year right across the street.

That was my favorite thing about pulling it around on a trailer. I’d be aired down before ever leaving my driveway.

So question for the peanut gallery. Long time Ford and Jeep guy, relatively new to Tavos.

    Stock gen 3 SR 4x4

I have bilstein 5100s sitting in the garage, planned on doing the position 3 clip for a 1.5 ish lift in the front.

I keep meaning to get around to it, but its been about a year.

Is the bilstein pretty solid? I am just looking to run 265s or 285.

Or should I blow my tax refund on something like this? Thoughts on a basic lift?
Put on the 5100s and spend my $1k refund elsewhere or get the eibach lift with blocks in the rear and sell the 5100s?

I've got 5100s pretty much set just the way you are thinking. They've been great for the last 30K plus since I got the truck. I recently installed a winch, and now they are too squishy, but with stock weight you should be fine. 10/10 would reccomend for the cost savings.

the 5100's are a staple of tacomaworld  I havnt really heard bad things for what they are... I would stick to something like that and save the money unless you were going to make the jump to something with resi's

Good to hear. Time to go rent that damn coil spring compressor.
Ive done it at least 3 times between my vehicles and buddies and it still makes me nervous.

So basically the 5100s or drop $2k+ then, makes sense

Yeah, compressing springs is a hoot and a half. Im lucky that my buddy works at a shop that has a wall mounted conpressor, so we've used that one when doing it.
