It does. Just dark in my office at night. The KC was during the day and is a great place for photos with the natural light. I almost waited to take a photo until tomorrow for that reason

Picked up a new one to me. Didn’t want to spend more than $50 and this came in at a penny under :spending:

So I participated in a Whiskey Connoisseur Tasting at Heaven Hill. They had it as one of the samples we tried. I was really good. After the tasting, we were allowed to purchase one bottle. It's the most I have ever spent on a bottle of bourbon. We had to make our choice at that time, since the bottles were so limited. Anyway, I think I made a good decision, I was surprised at the prices I found online once I googled it. I have never sold a bottle of bourbon, I only trade. But, I am considering selling this one if I get an offer I can's refuse. I have a few friends who sell on the secondary markets doing some research for me.

Anyway, we had a great trip, found a EH Taylor and Sazerac Rye at Buffalo Trace, then the Blanton's and other stuff at a few liquor stores on the way to Louisville.

That’s awesome! I wasn’t into bourbon yet when I lived in OH which is a shame given proximity to KY. You’re living the dream! I’d like to get up there this year if conditions permit. Meaning, if the wife lets me.

Wish I had the time and funds to do more tours, tastings, and such. I was lucky my daughter had a volleyball tournament in Louisville, giving me a good reason to take a extra day to enjoy the trip. Hopefully my daughter plays some college teams in Kentucky allowing me to do something like this again.

This bottle is really growing on me. I like it a whole lot. I think it’s more than 1/2 gone already.

Well, got the call from my local dealer yesterday for the annual “Pappy List.” I was second in line so I had access to everything…Pappy 12, Old Fitz 19yr, EHT SiB, EHT SB, Weller 107, Parker something, Four Roses something something rare, but went with the Elmer T Lee. I have half a bottle of Lot B left so I let someone else get lucky. We can normally just pick one, but when I went by they offered me the stuff that didn’t sell yet…Old Fitz was very tempting…but not for $700
