    I'd say pick up one each of these connectors. They come with terminals and wire seals. You may also want to grab some extra terminals while you're there.
    Double check what wire gauge you've selected and also what wire seal size before ordering. Are you sure you’re only going to use six wires? Maybe add something in the future? In that case I would get maybe the 8-pin version and a couple plugs to fill the vacant spots.

    I have wire crimpers that I can let you borrow.

    Ohhh yea, lots of farmland way down that way. I was in the suburbs north of Chicago, right on the IL/WI border.

    Last time I was out that way was 2 years ago to help my mom move from IL to be with my grandpa in AR.

    Driving through Chicago on my way there was every bit of “fun” as I remember it.

    Went to run the last power wire for the desk and the connector is misshapen. Just ordered another one on Amazon. It's a two pack so hopefully one works.
