If you guys are still looking, Fit Garage and Technique are the 4x4 shops I’d trust with my truck in Bend.

FWIW I didn’t even need a jack to change those fluids. Pretty quick and easy with a little time and YouTube (if needed) - saves lots of money.

Anyone have recommendations for a good body shop/detailer? I’ve got some dirt in my hood from a recent respray that I would like to have removed.

Detailer OR body shop? They are not the same.

well, a good either or should know what theyre doing enough to wet sand dirt nibs out of the paint then compound the scratches back out

Having worked at both body shops and detail shops, I wish that were true. You should be looking at a dedicated body shop. There is a lot of background knowledge on removing nibs (clear thickness, peel, cutting/compounds, edges, plastic vs metal panels etc). You want someone that has experience laying clear and knows the background of application, curing etc. You also want a shop that will be able to reapply clear if they burn through for some reason.

I wouldn't have a high level of confidence that your standard detail shop would have these skills and/or knowledge.

Limitless in Redmond is the best. He’s amazing at paint matching and making it look perfect

As far as detailer I don’t think anyone up to that level of task around here

FWIW, Riley at Get Detailed Bend, went to town on my hood last night. he wet sanded then 2 step polished my hood and fender after the disaster Kendall collision created. He absolutely knocked it out of the park. 10/10 would recommend if any of you guys are looking for a detailer! Tell him I sent ya

Looks like I will be visiting bend every now and then starting next month. Going to be working on and living out on my property between Christmas Valley and Riley. Bend looks like it will be the best (closest) place to go for building materials. So, if yall see a maroon Tundra with dual roof platforms and a funky looking antenna on the canopy, feel free to wave.

I'm in the bend area. I'm selling my Tacoma, but I'm always looking for people to explore with! I've got to get some miles on my Land Crusier :)
