I've been working a lot of 5-12s with rest periods during the day i am online from 9-9pm the last couple months

 

You obviously know more about injectors than me, but it's gonna piss me off if he directly lied to me after I repeatedly expressed that I didn't want modified injectors


Wish I could have gone with something like Bosch but I have no idea what I'd be looking for to mate with the factory fuel rail, etc

 

I wonder if he flow tested them and found them lacking... I cannot remember if the LCE ones were engraved or not now. @Digiratus do you remember or have a pic, I know you took a lot of pics when I was installing them. They look identical otherwise.

 

That's what I'm working on right now, a combo that gets people the ability to use 60mm, 48mm, or 36mm Bosch or Siemens/Deka domestic injectors which are cheaper and have greater support. This also removes the variable of the air pintle seals failing and you losing boost pressure at one or more of the 6 seals in the lower intake manifold. I don't know that Denso would have ever made an injector with an air pintle that was that large, so I'd suspect they're modified but probably by someone talented and they were probably flow benched afterward.

they have an active FB page where they document their injector servicing which is how I stumbled across them, might use them later if/when needed for the Taco or T4R

 

I've never dealt with them or seen them before. Probably good folks though, injector servicing is pretty simple, they pull the pintle caps (if equipped) and the little inlet filter basket and pulse them in a heated ultrasonic cleaner then bench them to make sure they flow the same. Not much else you can do, unless you have expensive alcohol injectors they're not "rebuildable" they just replace the two consumables on the ends and give you new orings. Mr. injector is right here in Coeur D Alene so I use them if I need cleaning.

I only have one close up photo of one of the injectors and the tech sheet I got with them from snpspeed.



I cropped this one to enlarge it. I'm not seeing any engraving, though that face might be facing the other way.

 

Alright, he must have moved to engraving columns 4 and 5 on them instead. Thanks for the info.

But ya, idk. I assumed all Densos would look roughly the same.

I can see inside the cap without removing it and it definitely does not have the little pintle holes that OEM injectors have, so I don't think they are OEM-modified, at least.. Is there a problem if they are the same as LCE other than coloring him a liar?
