Our front and backyard used to be the go-to spot in the neighborhood for squirrels and their morning orgy routines, until we adopted a Husky...after we had him for about a week the squirrels have relocated lol. Much to his dismay

I hate squirrels. Destructive little buggers . One chewed into my attic. One got in my neighbours shed and wrecked a buncha stuff. I shoot every single one I see around my place. Lol

Same with the grey squirrels here. If you got a shed they will find a spot to chew through it. I like seeing the squirrels, but when I find them digging up my garden plants to bury their nuts, that's when the BB gun comes out. At least they don't bother my vehicles.

He hasn't caught a squirrel yet (that we've seen) but he did catch a parrot the other day, my wife was horrified while he basically made a meal of it for an hour lol.

After a neighbor paid $5000 to replace most of their electrical system, I’ve made it my life’s work to eradicate the common grey squirrel. Not hyperbole…over 100 bagged in less than 3 years since starting the project. They just keep coming.

If they make their way into the deep brush and I can’t collect them…they attract a local fox. So far he hasn’t been a menace. I don’t mind him being around for cleanup.

My Dad (RIP) , who had a vendetta against Grey Squirrels, eliminated many 100s over a 10 year period with a live catch trap and a trash can full of water until he got too old to do it.
The problem with squirrels is, when you take one out, another moves in!
    Mice are my issue now.

Sounds like my chipmunk problem. Most grey squirrels I've seen in the yard at one time was around 9, or 10. It's been the the same 2, or 3 all winter. Chipmunks are going to wake up soon...those little bastards seem to come from everywhere. The last 3 years I've trapped well over 100.

For Chiprats, a good old rat trap baited with a strawberry. Put a milk crate over it to keep the birds away. Works great!

You never head this from me. Buuuuuut if you were to locate their holes and plug all of them except one, and you happen to sprinkle a tablespoon of crystal drano in the hole and douse it with some water and then cover that hole too it would probably make a small amount of heavy poison gas that would roll down through their tunnels and nothing would ever come out again.

I mean, that's what I heard it would do.

Sonic pest deterrants work wonders in garages and pole barns. Use 2 different brands so there different overlapping blasts going on and they will leave. I figured they can probably get used to one, but 2 or more will drive them crazy. I use a Victor blasting across the floor and these smaller ones under the hoods and engine bays of ORV's.

My house is surrounded by gigantic oaks. Grey squirrels love them obviously, so there’s always dozens around at any given time. SOBs love gnawing on trim boards for some reason, and are always using my roof as a highway to get to trees on the other side (which I can hear), but I’ve never had them mess with a vehicle.

I use these plastic jawz rat traps that have a pocket for the bait, I use a dab of peanut butter, and stick a few sunflower seeds in it. The chipmunks can't resist trying to get those sunflower seeds out...then curtains. Just make sure you stake the trap, or the bigger chipmunks will walk off before they croak.
I got 2 large shag bark hickory trees in my yard. These gray squirrels can't wait to get at the nuts before they ripen. Every late August there's a bunch of grey squirrels up in those trees chewing away dawn to dusk.

You can never locate all the holes, believe me, I know. 5 under one Lilac alone, never mind the rest of the bushes.
