    Moron report of the week:
    Backstory:
in the middle of a huge house. designer has changed her mind on half of the house and no one updates us. we've been scrambling to keep up and just praying that we aren't going to be short of material (all special order, long lead times) even though we've requested several times for them to tell us how our quotes/scope of work varies from what she's planning to do this week. no response from them
sent some stuff to a customer a few weeks ago. customer emailed back that the interior designer wanted some changes made. she happened to be focused on an area that we hadn't gotten any site confirmed as built measurements for so i told them that i would wait until we had the on site dims before updating and to please just focus on other things right now. knowing that it was pointless to ask how my version varies from her current plans...
    So Monday:
Customer : can you update me on where you're at with this? Its been two weeks since I asked for an update and you never replied (LIE!) I need an answer ASAP. CC's his boss to boot.
Weesa: I did reply the same day, my previous message is attached here in case you can't find the original. (he forwarded his message that I had previously replied to and not the very next message with my response so...)
C: So when can I expect an update we've been waiting two weeks?
W: We still need to confirm everything on site first, I won't be able to give you an update until after that
C: Can't you send the updated things now? I don't understand why this didn't happen two weeks ago.
W: Again, we need to complete a site visit and check as build dimensions before I can update anything. I will take the designers request into consideration once I have the on site dims confirmed
C: Why can't you just give me an answer now?

I stop replying at this point since I've now told the guy FOUR FREAKING TIMES that we need to do the site visit first. Site visit happened yesterday, I sent him the updated stuff with the designers requests accounted for this afternoon

C: I don't understand why this took so long and why you couldn't answer my questions before. I will forward to the designer and get her input ASAP. We're way behind on this project and can't have anymore delays!

This hits a little too close to home for me.

It was 6 months after my 40th birthday that I suffered my spinal cord injury from a large tumor that had wrapped itself around my spine without my knowing it was there, until my legs just stopped working. Fortunately, it only took a week for the doctors to diagnose and fix the situation, and I was able to learn to walk again. But I still have very nasty back pain, and a fair bit of permanent nerve damage (lower legs and feet are partially numb and tingly all the time, sense of balance is significantly impaired, other things...)

I have also had a left hip "re-surfacing" surgery, an a couple lower vertebrae fused to alleviate a sciatica problem. Now my left knee is going to hell over the last couple months....
