Thanks! I'd been curious about getting one for moderate weight stuff. Three years out of one isn't terrible but not great either. If I can snag one on a sale/coupon though I think it's a go.

I suspect disassembling the hydraulic ram and resealing it with quality orings would go a looooooong way it making it last better. The shit it's slapped together with in China has got to be the worst quality seals imaginable

I'd say you're right. There are a bunch available for $500-$1K+, I just figured for something I wouldn't be using daily, try the HF option. Some interesting ones on Amazon though.

For ease of return I'd stick with HF over Amazon. There's also a good chance it'll last longer than 3yrs in your garage. I used it every single day at the panel shop with the avg weight of our enclosures round about 100lbs

I had some of this around Christmas. My family is planning a trip to Norway so my parents found samples of some of the unique food from the country. Its taste and texture matched its looks exactly. Kinda carameley, kinda cheesey. I didn't think it was amazing, but it wasn't offensive or anything.

Turns out I'm a fan of kransekake, and of course lefse.

It's a Scandinavian cookie/cake. Kransekake (Norwegian)/kransekage (Danish) literally translates to "wreath cake", but it seems to be commonly referred to as a "Norwegian wedding cake". Maybe the wedding is where the cheese throwing happens?

Wikipedia says Krokan is a Swedish dessert made with the same recipe but formed differently.

It's pretty much just almond flour, egg whites, and sugar. Once baked, it gets a crunchy crust with a chewy inside.

This makes me think about attending our friend's wedding in Syracuse NY. The wedding cake was made out of bread. The party favors were bread rolls that were shaped into little birds with seeds for eyes.

The cake and birds looked like this but much larger and there was a bird for everybody at the wedding.

Whale is gross. Being Japanese and from Hawaii I eat very strong tasting fish with no real issue, love the bloodline. But whale was strong, like raw Saba or horse mackerel times a 100 strong

Has anyone tried the Detroit style pizza from Costco yet? It is one of the best frozen pizzas I've ever had. The sauce makes it. Very yummy.
