    trans cooler? I don't have one on my truck but I think they came on some, and I'm sure some people add them on their own. looks like it may have rattled out of wherever it was mounted

    Looks like a cooler is falling down/off. It’s could be a rusted out mount or missing bolt.

    I see massive amounts of rust along with an aftermarket trans/oil cooler falling off or mounted that way. What part of the country?

    Aftermarket transmission cooler that was probably wire or zip tied and now falling out.

    You're going to kink or break those lines, overheat or starve your transmission, and coming back with a new thread "fucked up my transmission"

    Aftermarket; factory automatics have their fluid cooled through the bottom part of the radiator.

    No auxiliary setup was ever offered in a 1st Gen.
