Hopefully soon. I'm one of those guys who likes winter to be winter. If the ground isn't covered in snow from January to March then winter can fuck off.

Ain't sunk in yet. Got a ton of shit to do all lined up for when the weather breaks.
Had to walk away from the 50 page retirement papers from my pension administrator.
Made my freakin head spin around.
Called my accountant yesterday in regards to the W4P tax forms from the state and feds.
Soon as I get that , I'll send them the paperwork.

After that I'll deal with the medical portion.
    Yippie!

Called SS this week to set up my "phone call" appointment next month.
At least the wheels are a turnin. :goingcrazy:

I'll be curious when it finally sinks in for you. For me, it was several months after I retired on a Sunday night. I was watching 60 Minutes and heard that familiar "tick, tick, tick" they've always used. And it hit me, for the first time ever it didn't mean the end of the weekend and back to school, back to work...back to a meeting, to emails, to the phone ringing, back to...everything. It was glorious.

For me it was the Sunday afternoon at 5PM Agita,no matter what I was doing, thinking about what I had to do Monday.
Didn't set my alarm since Monday at 2:45 AM.
Couple days this week I woke up at 3 and thought I was running late.
    I "slept in" till 4.:bananadead:

Snow tonight with the chance for a nor'easter Monday. Seems were getting more snow in march than the rest of the winter when we should get it.

I forget where I heard it but it must have been on a podcast and they were talking about there being evidence the seasons have shifted about three weeks the last several years and that kind of seems plausible at this point.

    @bucktales

From a retired person when you finally do retire take some time off and do absolutely nothing and enjoy it after about 3 months you'll find out all the stuff that you did while you were working cutting grass groceries Etc you will ask yourself how the hell did I do it when I worked I'm busier than hell and retirement just doing maintenance chores errands in my case doctor's appointments but enjoy your retirement you have earned it

The moment the northeast has no winter is when the planet is really up shits creek, in my honest opinion.
Besides it keeps the people from Florida out of our state :proposetoast:
