The Main part is in Monterey. they have stuff in a few other towns like Mcdowell. Monterey is at intersection of Rt 250 and Rt 220. 250 comes from the Shenadoah Valley right off I-81. 220 comes from WVA. its an hour from my house going 250. you will cross 4 mountains.id say its quite a drive for you Doug.

Happy Friday afternoon. The weather guessers keep showing some snow for today, Saturday and Monday. I've only seen about 10 minutes worth of snowflakes coming down then it went away.

Those sound like some awesome memories to have!

I'm supposed to be working from home on Mondays and Fridays. The network access program that we use for remote computers is about as reliable as a weather forecast. 1 1/2 hrs into my day and I had to come to the office. I need to retire.

Afternoon everyone! I’ve slept about as much as I can stand today. I’m heading north again tonight with puppies and cats always an aromatic ride you always know when it’s time for a cleanup. But the ride back is pretty good I’m taking my bag just in case a fishing trip breaks out.

Raining again today. The gutter company showed up today. They work in the rain but can't seal.

Can you wear contacts? They have their drawbacks but it’s as close as your going to come to natural vision.

yes. i haven't been able to wear them most days because i can't focus up close with them. i have to wear my glasses to work and can see the computer screen fine, just have to take them off to see my phone. and i've noticed that i stopped wearing my glasses when i read a book before bed too. no problems outside and i can wear either my glasses or my contacts when i drive. he gave me a different scrip of contacts to try with some readers and then i need to get bifocals in my glasses.

The contacts I use I can see everything except ultra fine detail that’s why I always have a pair of clicks hanging around my neck. But I can read and see pretty much everything I need daily but I need something a little extra to Ty my knots. But tippit is freaking tiny!! And my glasses I never wear are bifocals.

It's not the worst news ever, but a change, none the less. You'll be fine.

My eye Doc had me try out some bifocals, I could not adjust to them no matter how hard I tried. It screwed up my depth perception so bad I was getting motion sickness. Small font up close is what I can't focus on anymore. Hopefully they work out for you!

So sorry you are dealing with all that, Tom.

    Ouch. Hope you recover fast.

:woot: for spending time with the munchkins.

waah, waah, waah.... been wearing them for 20+ years. :D. :sorry: you'll get used to them

Took a few days but I got used to mine. Couldn't handle the lines, so went with the no line and haven't looked back...

    evening all

Sciatica is barking this evening. Don’t know what I did but man, I’m paying for it now. Very lower back. Thankfully not going through the arse or down the leg yet.

lay flat on your stomach and put your legs in a "4" with the sore side being the bent side. focus on pushing your hips into the floor but relaxing your butt. helps relieve the tension on the nerves from your butt/hip muscles
