Ah, I don't think that would fly here. I've heard of cops cracking down on out of state plates like that.

Cops can’t crackdown on it if it is legal. All of my stuff is registered back home in Alaska, a perk of being in the military. It’s also saved me about $30k in CO vehicle sales taxes in the last four years.

Picked up my 2023 Zx10r on Wed. Got to watch the whole unboxing and assembly. Also got to be the first and only person to ride the bike. This bike is freaking amazing. I only have it in rain mode and it’s still the fastest bike I have ever ridden. It’s super smooth and surprisingly comfortable. Weather here sucks so I have only put about 17 miles on it so far. Only plans are,,, I ordered swing arm spools so I can lift the rear and I will get all the restrictions in the ecu flashed out. Otherwise I am going to keep it 100% stock. No reason to modify a bike that is already an absolute beast from the factory (once it’s de restricted)

if it’s a 50 state bike, mileage and age doesn’t matter.

New MotoE bike in full race trim looks gorgeous. Based on the scale of everything else, it looks to have a relatively large front and small rear sprocket.

I feel like I heard it is? Can't remember where though. Essentially same frame as the rebel with rear subframe, suspension, wheels, and forks

So what is the $400 difference in BS fees between the two bikes? You would think they would be the same with the Monkey and Grom.

Cali gets a lot of hate

ok sure perhaps a lot of if is arguably merited

but everyone who hates on cali always seemingly and conveniently leaves out the great things...

cali has some of the best driving roads in the country, the ability to ride waves and snow in the same day

the adventuring to be had in cali is mostly unmatched

at the end of the day, you gotta pay to play, and having fun aint cheap, and it sure aint cheap in cali

I know. I don’t have the socials but I know
”Character”. Haha. Actually I forget who did a review between the two (maybe TFL) but there were a few differences in fit and finish as well as more steel and less plastic overall that would account for the Monkey’s higher base price. Plus those comparisons were for a non-abs grom which is already $300 less than an ABS unit.

As far as the admin fees it’s probably some percentage based formula that they have worked up.

Been working and spending getting ready for the track. A little over a month away.

So far I have my ECU flashed, Yosh slip on, sliders on the fork, axle, and frame, woodcraft rear sets, 15/45 sprocket swap. Driven grips, braided brake lines, and coolant swap to water wetter.

I have been looking for a more suitable seat for racing and still need to safety wire.

STG has been a great source

Sure, there's nice stuff, but the price to live there extends beyond the monetary. I'd love the temperate climate year round, but not as much as my freedom and security.

Apparently my dad has a wholesale account with Pro Bolt. He sent me a box with some bling for the bike. Also a hand me down suspension link from his RSV4 Factory that will stiffen up the rear of my bike because fatass.
