Just take the camper off and toss the bikes in or grab a trailer.

At this point it’s not worth it for me to sell mine so I just dump more money into it. Just got a tundra rack and TC Howe steering kit.

Ah, but see after driving a performance Tesla everything else is so incredibly slow, I wouldn’t even try and make an ICE truck fast again. The supercharged 2nd Gen was the best vehicle I’ve owned to date, and I’ve owned nearly 20 vehicles because I’m a vehicle whore like that. But separating the 4x4 to a DC 1st Gen and go-fast to a Tesla has been fantastic. I like the smaller 1st gen platform if not needing it for a daily. But if looking to combine all the things in a single vehicle, I feel it doesn’t get much better than the supercharged 2nd Gen.

It all part of the fun and gamble chasing performance. At some point we chase the next thing and it’s not always the best thing. I have a few things I somewhat regret but it’s not reversible so Yolo!

At a $180/hr shop rate that’s ~45 hours. That does seem like a lot!

45 hours is a lot of time. Then again with these trucks it feels like everything takes a looong time. I was charged 20hrs just to install the super charger 6 years ago.

I wouldn't say everything else is incredibly slow, unless you're driving a Plaid. ;)

I do, however, understand your perspective. My quick and fast fixes come from my GT500 and Z06, both with lowly ICEs, but sporting 650-825 HP (and TQ) that do 0-60MPH in 3.2-3.5 sec and achieve ~200MPH top speeds. :burnrubber:

As daily drivers go, however, I enjoy driving my S/C Tacoma.

Some how I feel like I missed the a/s/l intro to this thread. How does everyone know their age.

For some, perhaps, but not for me. Can't bring myself to give up 3-pedals, a stick-shift, and the ICE sound. :burnrubber:

Well. Vs 0-60 in 3.1. Personally I view the 0-100 performance as what is worthwhile on a daily, beyond that is go-to-jail territory that I prefer to avoid.

I initially backed off due to transmission shift flaring between 4th and 5th until I got a tune to address it and I haven’t really missed the slight loss of boost.

As for selling the truck, life and needs change. I think I have put 100 miles on it in the past 7 months. I don’t get too hung up on possessions that don’t meet the needs anymore. I’d rather have the cash for other things and if I want fast, I’d get another ~500-700cc dual sport motorcycle that is faster and different fun.
