If so beware, they tried to sell me a painted over rusty AF 2nd gen when I was looking for mine.

It is, i got a decent vibe off of the dude I was working with but did notice some other vehicles with “shady” dealer type stuff. I went over this thing top to bottom. Besides some barely noticeable frame rust, it should be good to go

 

I do, well it’s my wife’s car. So much aftermarket support for it these days, but back in 2018..I only got as far as wheels, roof rack and a couple other things. But since I’ve gotten my Tacoma as a second vehicle , I can’t support modding 3 vehicles.

 

@Usethe2nd I'd be careful. That dealer sold my buddy a raptor with a lot of issues then said it was all normal. Specifically, it had tranny problems and it was not cheap to get fixed!

Only thing that we’ve done is a touch screen protector and a 1/3 clear bra up front. Nothing much is going to happen to the GX as it’s the wife’s car and I’m modding/restoring my MR2 with a future 2GR swap planned.

 

Congrats on the GX, I really like the headlight and captain chair options in the recent years. We bought ours brand new in 2015, and while we want something newer from time to time, the smoothness of the V8 and how practical it is as a baby/toddler hauler makes it a very practical family vehicle! Well, the barn door is my only gripe.

 

Thanks! Yeah we just hit our 1 year mark with it this month. We cross shopped the Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Acura MDX, Tesla Model Y, BMW x5 plug in and this won out. It was the most comfortable and the most reliable. Our only gripes are the barn door like you said and the zero space once the 3rd row is up (but we rarely use it). We plan on keeping this for at least 10 years and pass it to the kids when they will be old enough to drive.

 

You guys think I can fit these wheels on my Taco with no lift? 285/70R17 Also, what do you think of the color on a white truck?

Anything that you would have to do to make them fit at stock height you would have to do to make them fit at lifted height so if they are what you want grab a hammer and heat gun and get to work. I'm not sure on the offset of the wheels but there could be contact on the UCA which will mean spacers are in your future.
