As of now we don't have a trail picked out for Thursday the 30th. @pearing suggested Steel Bender or Devil's RaceTrack and I recommended Dome Plateau.

Anyone that's going have a trail they'd like to do or recommendations?

Steel Bender is a no-go. ALF isn't capable. The hardest obstacle is too much. I could do Devil's Racetrack. If you want do trails that I can't, I'll ride shotgun.

I am also very interested in Elephant Hill. It requires permits, but I have heard firsthand that it is fantastic. Don't know how hard the permits are to get; according to FunTreks every vehicle needs one, but they are not hard to come by. Those tubby 3rd gens might not fit...

Shot gun approach: As @Supr4Lo stated Dome Plateau sounds great and also Flint Trail looks like a good option

Added a poll for which trail to do on the 30th. I left out Elephant hill due to group size and permits needed.

I voted Dome Plateau as the Funtreks guide states it's an "extra fun" trail. We'll be doing some relatively hard wheelin' on the other trails. Dome Plateau would be a nice wind down from the stress.

I kind of thought the same. Good trail to wind down the trip.

I haven't even started to look at how I'm going to pack.

We should give them all to @Taco-Grinder to haul for us. I mean he does have the trail limo....

I'm putting it under my sleeping platform up towards the front of the box. It's still in the box.

This past week I loaded most of my stuff up. Just to see where to put it. Then yesterday I unloaded most of it because I went to an estate sale.

Gentlemen, I may have stumbled upon an omen. I was watching the Saturday morning episode of "Trail Mater" on you tube and Rory and his henchmen dropped off a project at a repair shop called Rocky Mt Backroads 4x4, 15 miles south of Moab. I put their number in my phone, ya know, just in case. If somebody needs a repair, we'll at least have a shop to call. Said they stock a lot of common parts that are prone to break. I also have Trail Maters # if some one needs a tow off of the trail.

That is NOT my goal... I will be embarrassed if I have to be towed-also bankrupt. Good to know where we can get fixed though. Been watching lots of videos lately...

Mine fit there also (but I am not bringing my "toilet" system. Probably won't fit with that in there...). Need to waterproof the box and then put it back in for the long term. MOAB!
