I find the pipe to be a little on the pricy side especially for longer lengths, but I have several and they work well.

    Thanks everyone!!!

When I cut back to get rid of the angle cuts I was able to match the original t&g. I’m fortunate to have a shaper and cutters

heres my jig...i still need to learn it more but it works! Dont mind the excessive long screws they are temporary as i didnt know what size i needed when i first started. Center part rotates. I can loosen screws to get a depth up or down then tighten again.

    Looks great!

You gonna trade out those screws for some bolts instead? The jig looks great!

HAHA! I was just curious which way you were going to go with it. Do you also have jigs for the handles or different shapes etc?

Harbor Freight has very cheap clamps. I have a few of the 24" and 36" trigger clamps/spreaders and they're good enough for my occasional project. I haven't tried any of HF's bar clamps, but I see that they have a 60" aluminum F-bar clamp for $20.

I’ve been watching too many woodworking videos on YouTube. I’m watching 2001 A Space Odyssey and focusing on their “mid-century modern in space” designs.

It bends if you clamp too tight.

I have a bunch of the 18” and they work fine. Not really long enough to bend.
