This addition will be coming soon, just need to hit the purchase button. Lol . I'm not sure but I feel like I'm the only one that has just about all bolt ons for engine enhancing performance ,minus super charger and headers. I really need to Dyno my truck . If I can get this manifold spacer and possibly headers , I will make it my goal to get a Dyno somewhere in this state of Washington.

    I
I bounce back and forth from sport to lite, currently on lite. I'm almost convinced lite is almost the best, why , cause when you want sport you just tap that ect button and vroom vroom you go go go . Works great when you wanna shit and get in traffic.

Is there a thread discussing this manifold spacer? I've searched and haven't had any luck?

I have a question for anybody that knows anything about tuning. I've been loving this tune and really noticed the extra power when I was towing my 1500lb square drop trailer into the wind across OK. Going into 60mph gusts I was running in 4th gear despite my 4.88 gears. This put me at about 4 grand anywhere above 65mph so I had to slow down, but it still was a hard trip on the truck. My transmission temps were beautiful despite it all and everything looked really nice the whole trip. When I got back I decided to monitor the AFR and I was a little surprised. It looks like the baseline is to shoot for 14.5 or so. This makes sense to me in the lower rpm ranges. If I have partial throttle and run at 6 grand I still seem to see around 14. Over about 4000-4500 and above a certain engine load the AFR drops to the 13 range. My experience tuning engines involved a carb and a guess, but in the stone ages you would shoot for an AFR around 13 and even richer as you got to increased rpm and load. Leaner than that would really shorten the life span of the engine. I am fully aware that engines have changed so I am not throwing stones. I am really just looking for some reassurance. I am picturing the hours I spend at midrange rpm towing the trailer with a lean AFR and it just makes me nervous.

If you flash to stock and check the numbers, you’ll see that we followed Toyota’s low-midrange AFR. We want to keep the reliability. Stoic is 14.7.

I ran it for about 8 tanks. It’s a good throttle setting. It’s has the pep of Normal without the sensitivity, it knocks the edge off, smoother tip in.

I think it helps the engine “breath” allowing more air volume. But going from KDMax tune without the spacer to KDMax tune with the spacer, it was not a big difference. The tune already does so much. Going from stock tune with no spacer to stock tune with the spacer may be more of a difference.
