I remember when I was around 10, my mom dragged me to a yard sale where a troop of Girl Scouts were selling cookies. Somebody said “Why do they call these Samoas?” Nobody knew. I said “Cause when you eat them all, you want samoa”

It’s asking if a person says ‘good night/ Gnite’ vs. a person saying ‘have a good night’ is the meaning the same?
