My picture on post #682 and above are the stock wheels and tire size (245s), but the tires are Falken Wildpeaks

In that case, I recommend you do the bushing yourself. I installed my 5100's first and then did the bushing while my 5100's were already installed. I had to wait for a friend to send me his ECGS puller.

Ah, that's why it looks like more than 1.1" lift. ;)

Fun fact, I filled up my gas tank this morning and vibration went away. It was nearly empty before. I guess the extra load on that side is enough to change the angle of the CV axle enough to make the needle bearing happy?! The vibration was very subtle, not like some of the ones I've read about on here. Anyways I'm still going the replace the bearing with an ECGS bushing.

I know it's a sore subject but I wonder if the ½ or ¾ inch a front diff drop would lower it would be enough to straighten it out.

Its not a sore subject. I'm definitely happy with the lift and the truck rides better. :) But I do want to address this problem. I'm going to be driving the truck across country in May.

Given this recent revelation, a diff drop might correct it. I'm don't know what that all entails. The bushing replacement based on my research seems pretty straight forward. Hell, if the vibration goes away with a little added weight on drivers side I could just throw a sandbag in that side of the bed when the gas tank get empty enough.

The diff drop is a sore subject around here.

I think the real solution is to not let your tank get below half. Which is what you should do anyways lol

Did you lift the rear as well? Could be a rear pinion angle thing. Would explain how weight over the rear would help.

Bilstein 5100’s with ome 881 coils on lowest setting, JBA upper control arms, LCE header, 31x10.5x15 falken wildpeaks.
So what shocks do you use in the back with the 1.5” aal? 5100’s go from 0-1”, 2-3.5” and 4-5.5”

Yes with a Deaver AAL and got about 1.7" lift in the back. I'll look into it, but I definitely feels like its coming from the front.

I used the standard length 5100s based on the advice I got here and the company I ordered the AAL from. I wasn't aware there were three lengths. I just know of the standard and extended length versions.

how do those 888 coils ride with no weight up front?

I keep going back and forth between threads. Basically just want to keep stock height and replace my shocks w 5100’s.

If I want to keep everything as close to stock height as possible w factory rake, do I still need to AAL?

You don't need an AAL then. The AAL will lift the rear.

    Perfect!

I haven't read too many folks on here wanting to keep it stock height. I was afraid to ask.

No worries. No judgement here. Honestly, the main reason lifted mine was because I wanted to increase load capacity (slightly) with the AAL, which also necessitated lifting the front.

Something I have been wondering about for any informative person more knowledgeable than myself, please chime in:

4600s are clearly meant for a stock refresh/upgrade no height to factor in etc.

5100’s has the option to keep this at a 0” stock setting. (But meant for a mildish lift vehicles).

Is it better to go the 4600 for those of us that just rather keep it stock height? Or opt for 5100’s, 0” setting and have the option to lift the clip/coil perch setting?

Also has anyone here installed 4600s on a third gen?
