Hey everyone! Been lurking for a while now but finally picked up a 04 Xtra Cab 4x2 Auto Tacoma from my grandfather. He bought it lightly used back in 06 and didn’t drive it much down in FL. Drove it 1400 miles back to NH without issue. Currently 71600 on the clock.

Picked up a SnugTop cap and plan to get a spray in Berliner done soon.

Very nice! It looks pristine. Congrats. Is is automatic or manual? Keep it away from the salt. Don't let it rust away.

Auto unfortunately. I wish it was 4x4 and stick but I can’t complain. There is hardly a spec of rust on the underside. Sat in a garage in Florida most of it life. It currently has a drop in plastic bed liner that I want to swap to a spray on to avoid potential rust issues there. Luckily I drive a work truck and we use my wife’s Subaru for most of the driving in winter so it should see too much salt.

Hey, nothing unfortunate about it being automatic, or 2x4. It is a beautiful truck. You are a lucky man. To me, every 1-Gen Taco is a valuable posession (lol!).

That's a great looking truck that will last you as long as you want it to. Hang on to that one.
