I don't know if it did either, but he had a tentative closing scheduled for the end of March.
I'd bet that's where his time is being spent, trying to make that all happen. :fingerscrossed:

I saw that video the other day and the post made me think of it. I was surprised someone was dumb enough to try it. Entertaining nonetheless.

No, he's not that kind. I'm certain it's personal stuff that has nothing to do with any of us. I don't know this 'for fact', but it's my guess. Either way, best wishes to him and his family. :fistbump:

    X2 on his family

This is just the way I am wired from my 18 years of Childhood Boot camp.

Every thing bad that happened was always in some manor my fault .

    It rises up at times.

In my younger dumber years we used to take stuff that was laying around and shoot at it. The camp grill green propane bottles, mini fridges, microwaves, a full size grill, gel cell batteries (that ended really poorly), so did the old engine block.

    Dun!

Found one that had corroded contacts on the 9 volt battery.

    It has been replaced.

Cats weren't happy about the multiple test. They get over it.

My opinion was they don't have the internet in west Virginia. In addition they don't like it when you merry outside the family.
Gotta keep on the down low so as not upset the natives...if you know what I mean.

'work' is maybe an oversimplification. but stuff still needs doing, paid or unpaid!

saturday, i have all the personal stuff to attend to!

this saturday, it was give the dog a bath, try to get verizon to fix my backup phone, drop off my old tv cabinet at the thrift store, fix my parents laptops printer issues, wash the dog-drool smelling blankets, wash clothes, and clean the basement workshops.

sunday, it's going to be volunteering at church to run the video recording/youtube stuff, and deacon responsibilities, fold all the clothes from yesterdays wash, clean up the kitchen table i've been throwing things onto all week, run the dishwasher, clean the counters, and maybe finally take an hour to relax later.

if you know how to get paid to do any of those things, i'm all ears! but last i heard, most people just call it 'Adulting'

Or the bossman found out about all the time on the clock he was posting and pulled a WTF on him.

Same with the Mrs about the family posts :notsure:

I don’t know. It just seems weird for him and others who pull a disappearing act without even a goodbye. Multi thousand posts… Starts hundreds of pages long threads…just doesn’t add up IMHO.

I can agree! It is the whole just vanish not something like You have all been great but personal life demands a break off the internet.

I can only hope He and his family are good.

not at all surprising to me.

this place is time consuming. days i check out, i don't always plan on checking out, but life happens. some days when i've got something a day apart, i just don't log in on the middle day just because it's easier to catch up at once later than to try to play catch up twice. it's why i'm mostly on during the weekends instead of taking part in the weekday banter.

You miss the point Shane did much of his posting at work!

The milling machine cranking out parts granted in many bigger shops he might be over seeing a few machines..

It is easy to nod off watching the CNC mill .

He's has a history of taking breaks now and then, he'll be back. After all, he owes us nothing and its him squaring his family away for their next season of life that matters.
