No matter what type of gun I try to like. I always end up going back to a Glock. Bought this today.

Thanks that was very informational. I wish I didn't get rid of my G19.2 several years ago.

I’m about to buy a few more magazines for my recently purchased Glock 19 gen 3. I am likely going with Glock magazines but I noticed Magpul magazines for a really good price. Anyone have experience with the Magpul magazines in their Glocks?
Pros? Cons? Should I just go with Glock Mags?

I own both. I shoot the Glock mags regularly and the magpuls were thrown into the cart during a panic purchase when we were threatened with a mag cap ban. The magpuls feel much cheaper compared to the Glock factory mags (magpul is all plastic with no metal liner) but I haven’t actually shot them so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Still I’d take a glock factory mag over a magpul any day.

There’s a reason so many other manufacturers build guns to use Glock mags.

The Magpuls are ok, but don't have the steel liner or feed lips. The ones I have also don't have the load level holes in the back so you can't see how many rounds you have in them. The Glock mags also load easier since they are steel lined and the rounds slide in a little easier.
For the money, the Magpuls are decent and they work, but I like the Glock mags better.

When I worked at the range we used the Magpul mags in some of our rental guns to test them when they first came out. Without the metal lined feed lips they would eventually wear out and stop working properly. I'd use them for the range to knock around but definitely wouldn't carry them.

Thanks all. I’m going to go with the Glock magazines and get a couple of Magpuls just for range use.

Well then you’re in the wrong thread. Puts you in the same category as the goober that kept insisting on posting pics of his 10/22 in the “show off your HK” thread a few weeks ago.

nah not really, the guy in the HK thread was the real goober.

I celebrate brand diversity myself. Love my g19 and want a few more but by no means a “Glock Guy”.
