    Newby question.

I'm looking on Motogp.com web site, and I see they offer two streaming packages. TimingPass and VideoPass.

On the FAQ, under "What do I get with TimingPass" it says - TimingPass is the only package that provides data from each session of the MotoGP™ World Championship.

FAQ for VideoPass says - basically the same, plus of course access to all race videos and other content all the way back to 1992.

My question - to just watch the races, is TimingPass enough, or is that only for time trials and practice sessions, but no actual races? I would only be interested in watching the actual races. VideoPass is 140 Euros per year, TimingPass appears to be only 18 Euros/year.

All the races are aired on either NBC or CNBC. Some live, some later in the day on delay

Timing Pass gives you access only to Timing sheets, hence the name and price difference. You will not be able to watch the sessions.

If you want to watch races when YOU have time, you need Video Pass.

Looks like another year on the struggle bus for Yamaha. Only having 2 bikes for testing is going to give them minimal feedback. Whereas, Ducati, having 8 bikes on the grid, can test 4x more in the same amount of time.

At this point, I think Marc would be smart to move to Ducati. Although I'm not sure they could afford him with the huge budget they already have.

And yeah, that wing thing on Fabio's tail is fugly. Good luck with that...

Did anyone watch the ridiculousness of the Daytona 200 last weekend? They basically turned it into a 10 lap sprint race after 52 laps. The worst part was racers a lap down (or more) were now on the same lap as the leaders after the restart. MotoAmerica, you pissed off a lot of people...

I stopped watching the 200 when they had a rolling start and turned it into a Supersport race.

There are a lot more episodes if you pay $140 for the video pass. :anonymous:

Also, check out Between The Hedges, if you haven't seen it already.

I know a lot of people quit watching when they changed from SuperBikes to SuperSport bikes. Supposedly it was "too dangerous" ... The pussification of the US is real. No more bikes on the Pike's Peak race either now.
