I had headsets and race car noises. He said I could do the 321 and he’d go off my launch. The return race he said he was in “reverse” from still lining up or something.

If we’re doing that we’re gonna race our street cars. My Elantra vs his 975hp modded Jeep track hawk………wait I think I had better chances in the dirt

300 at the tires in a taco !? I want to measure my penis on that dyno ! 300 ish crank mayyyyybe with a sc but that equates to barely 200 at the wheels figuring a 35% loss from crank to ground

I’m just going off what others have dyno at. Assuming my hearing helps but bigger tires hurt.

The LS I'm putting in should be around 500hp at the crank, and I'd be stoked for 300 at the wheels on 39s.

Maybe more in the future, but for now, just doing a mild cam which is supposed to go from 403 stock to 498.

I’m bombing a ProCharger on mine next year. Guarantee it puts at least 300 to the back tires.

I don’t quite understand the whole roots deal with a small V6. All they do is eat power and make heat which cuts potential.

    I did a BTR stage 2 cam
Was not enough in the buttcheek dyno

did you remember to swap out your oil valley barbell for a metal one?
It’s surprising how often I hear that it’s overlooked

True for the early ones, the current gen Magnussen incorporates a w2a aftercooler.

still less efficient than a turbo or a centrifugal sc, but not a one pull wonder like the earlier superchargers lol

I'm putting the btr Truck Norris cam in mine. Haven't built the motor yet. It's a 6.2l l92. Hoping to find an ls3 intake for it as well. I'm pretty new to the ls, and had never heard of the metal barbell till now. Easy enough, I'll order one up!

True to an extent, but the w2a still doesn’t cool as efficiently as an ATA intercooler. Which still results in power loss. Along with greater rotating mass. What’s lost from that is gained back plus some with centrifugal.

Not to mention centrifugals are more efficient right out of the gate because they aren’t making boost instantly. Rather in the 2,000-2500 range depending on gearing in the SC.

Put a 4500rpm stall in it, LS motors love them

    OEM one is plastic
    Once it breaks
Your oil stops reaching the filter and you just recycle the same oil through the motor indefinitely 05E2663D-092E-4ED6-9630-36F4E872B4F1.jpg

    I cheated with my 5.3
I grabbed the stock 6L90 torque converter in it that’s rated higher but keeps the stall basically stock

The 6.2 has bored cylinders and Diamond rods/Weisco pistons with a 225 cam

you know who built it, I’m sure

    Whole lotta stuff
For discussion purposes, anyone found a motor swap that compliments 2nd Gen 4wd or is the LS still king there? Anything's possible with fabrication, but I think it would be a interesting discussion. There was a 2nd Gen I almost bought but someone beat me to it out-of-state, it had a complete transplant 4.7L V8 out of a 4th gen T4R. Dashboard, ECU, drive train and all was transplanted. Thought that was interesting. Also said it was full-time 4WD. I didn't know the T4Rs had that.

Edit: PS, ya'lls LS builds look awesome. Love following the progress
