Ok something is up in the home improvement plumbing section....replaced a porcelain sink last night...its been cracked but only seeping like someone dropped a hammer in it but I got new one, swapped parts/ faucet...etc zero trips to Lowes:eek:

Next item, dishwasher has been a huge POS, last night was the last straw. Went to lowes got new one. Install went ok... thought i was going to need to go get something for it but ended up i already had it!

So 2 small plumbing jobs and only 1 trip to Lowes to get the dishwashero_Oo_Oo_O

I've done that a couple times on plumbing. Although one time after cutting open my water lines and realizing my torch head was broken and having to make a 1 hour round trip to get one in a snow storm I try and better prepare myself

I have a DeWalt organizer with all kinds of different PEX and copper fitting on hand just to have in case.

LG compressor is currently being replaced on the fridge. :fingerscrossed:

I've heard good things about Bosch DW's, but supposedly they don't have a disposal built in, so pre rinsing dishes is key. :notsure:

Speaking of dishwashers, mine is starting to act a little funny and the control is getting more finicky. Unfortunately I have a smaller 18" and they're twice as expensive as the regular 24". I would have to completely re-do my lower cabinets to get a regular one to fit. After having a dish washer I cannot live without one...

I wouldn't even know what to do with a full size dish washer!

You'd have to do more painting if you re did and have to deal with those fumes again:rasta:

Also would this be you with a new washer?

LG repairman said it's internal seals in the LG compressors that fail. Currently getting fumed out from the solder. :puke:

All done with the repairs. I have to wait 24hrs for it to cool, but I'm happy I don't have to buy another fridge and that the repair was free!

I just don't like the wall color and I've decided to just prime and paint the trim. The edges around the trim really bother me. I like the nice caulked and painted route. Trim has been used/abused and painted around since 1965 so it needs a refresh...
