Back around noon, I was heading north on the turnpike around Scarborough. Was raining and 36. MTA plow trucks were already out puking salt out the back. Probably trying to use up this year's supply.

 

Snow just started up here. Kinda late, so I doubt we'll actually end up with much to talk about my way.

PennDot around here has been stingy with the salt for some reason. They use the liquid pre-treat on the mountain, but that's about it. Now MDDot, yea they love to spread that liquid crap out and then use rock salt.

For example, same storm. This was PA

Three inches of snow on the ground here. No point in snow blowing, it never got cold so my driveway is a mud pit underneath the snow. It would really be raining if I tried it.
