I'm a lefty PF guy as well, 56+ but still think I can play soccer. I've been dealing with issues, but not a full blown rupture, for at least 5 years. Strange, even with just some potential tearing, my ortho told me there was a surgery, it just wasn't very successful for people like me with only a tear. So I kept wearing that dang boot at night, ice baths for foot after games, and stretches. Hasn't been bad yet this season, but our first two games got cancelled due to rain. I'm hoping I'm ready to be mostly pain free this season <knocks on head>

Mine is full blown. It felt like the shades were rolling up after the audible pop. Then searing pain. Haha. I have no history of PF so it’s odd…My ortho said that there was a doc at the University of Washington who would perform the surgery but the results weren’t impressive. I’ve also had my sports medicine doc tell me the same thing. It sounds like either way it’s just a long healing process. I don’t patient well…so hopefully it will heal quicker than expected.

Hahaha. I’ve been joking with my staff about motorizing the scooter I’m currently using…but these are very nice. I think they might even fit through the doorways.

There is a you tube of the street outlaws “farm truck” racing a motorized scooter.

I tried to hide in the mountains from it but no go I ended up scouting most of the day. The good I now have multiple places to fish when I’m in the area. And I’m up this way a good bit.

So moron report of the day...
teleconference today was a training thing for some new software we're going to be switching to
guy doing the training was kinda getting a feel for how we do stuff now and asking questions. before i can chime in my boss speaks up. so...

    training guys asks question
boss: well right now we....proceeds to ramble on semi incoherently and gets nothing right
training guy: o_O <---clearly visible even though his face is the size of a dime on my screen
    TG: are you sure that...
Me: no actually what we do is...blah, blah, blah...clear concise explanation
TG: oh, OK. that makes sense. carries on with presentation
    TG: asks another question
Boss: again answers before me, and wrong again
    Me: corrects him
lather rinse repeat for 3 hours
then the standard "did anyone have any final questions before we close out" from TG
Boss: rambles incoherently about something in another software that its clear this software has nothing to do with
    TG: o_O
Me: you're getting X and Y confused, that's done over there in another system. we can't combine the two

I know he doesn't understand a single thing that we do, why or how but hearing him try to explain it to someone else is downright baffling. yet he jumps in with the utmost confidence that he knows whats going on. Beyond clueless.

I was headed over the hill to the bullpasture but when I got to the overlook where the confederate breastwork is it was 27* and snowing. I decided the van was not the vehicle I wanted to try to get back over that pass in a few hours. I’ll go check it out next time.
