Metalheads don't sew..that's balderdash, how people think we get all the patches on our jacket? Though in fairness my wife did make mine..

 

Snow just started sticking here maybe an hour ago. Grass/houses covered. Roads still seem like they're just wet. Hoping it stays that way... hovering right around freezing so anything that sticks will be super heavy.

 

Still just rain and some wet flakes here in Cheshire. No accumulation yet on anything.

 

Customer comes in hearing a rattle from the L/R. This was in the lower control arm (her spring is not broke).

Looks like I have a set of front and rear Bilsteins with OME 2" front springs lined up. Gonna go pick em up tomorrow. The wife is not going to be impressed but for $600 I can't pass it up. All brand new. Saves me the headache of disassembling my stock fronts. Probably easier to sell mine complete anyway.

 

That's what I did when I went up to 6112s, probably the best decision I could've made

 

I guess I'll leave the rear springs alone, do the front, then lift the rear accordingly.

 

I too have a sewing machine. Not sure what brand - TBH it's currently a tv stand. :-(
I'd like to get a 'professional' sewing machine, something that can easily handle leather.

I seem to really enjoy reupholstering. Chairs, automobile interiors. It's so easy to completely rebirth something through a little sewing.
Cording is on my bucket list -- being able to do that really steps up your game, like a lift & sliders on your truck. ...one day.
